Leukaemia Foundation

In early 2005 Garry’s son Jeremy was diagnosed with Leukaemia.  In April 2006 at the age of 27, Jeremy lost his battle with this insidious disease and passed away.

The Leukaemia Foundation provided the most amazing level of compassion and support to Jeremy’s young wife Renae AND his broader family.

Just prior to his passing, Jeremy described how he intended establishing a charity to help the Leaukaemia Foundation help people like himself.  Unfortunately he passed away before achieving that goal.

Garry decided to continue the work Jeremy had started and made a commitment to provide financial support to the Foundation.

“Unfortunately it very often takes something like this to cause us to take action.  We encourage you to give anything you can to this wonderfully compassionate and caring Foundation . . . we certainly will continue to do so” Garry said

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is staffed by an extremely diverse and dedicated team of individuals - blended together to deliver a level of support and care for patients that is second to none.

That diversity extends across all parts of the Hospital at every professional level with staff bringing an enormous breadth of experience and expertise that is dedicated and focused on the care and welfare of children.

Invest For Your Life has made an ongoing commitment to support the hospital financially at every opportunity.

Brendan Renaud – Director of Invest For Your Life said “It breaks your heart to see children suffering in any situation and unfortunately it is not possible to prevent this.  The only thing any of us can do is offer support in any way we can to provide essential resources to make the children’s lives a little more comfortable”
